The Baltic Sea

June 15th
We were all slightly hung over from the night before but we all managed to make it to breakfast before it ended.  We had a traditional continental breakfast of yogurt with granola and jam, a soft boiled egg, fruit, fresh rolls with sliced cheese and cold cuts, and coffee and orange juice.

We took a bus across town to the train station to travel to a city a bit north of Lubeck called Nuestadt so we could eat some seafood and see the Baltic Sea.  Shortly after arriving we enjoyed some seafood, I had a fish soup with a pickled herring sandwich and a beer.  Then we walked around the harbor and town for a few hours before hopping on a train to return to Lubeck.

We were all very tired when we returned so we got ourselves some coffees and ice cream.  After walking around a bit we stopped at an Italian pizzeria for dinner.  After having consumed pizza and drinking some beer we all were ready for bed despite how early it was and so we headed back to the B&B.

I spent the remainder of the day taking a nap and reading my travel Germany book by Rick Steves to try to get some ideas of my future travel plans.  I will be leaving for Berlin by myself tomorrow and will stay there for four days.
